Thank you for visiting my website. It is a pleasure to represent House District 7 and to serve as Speaker of the House for the 67th Colorado General Assembly.
I know Colorado is a place where informed leaders still believe our promise is not yet fulfilled, and won’t be until each child has the opportunity to realize his or her full potential, each hardworking Coloradan has the opportunity to find a job, raise a family, and retire with security and dignity.
I offer that our principal charge should be to continue to expand the circle of opportunity, so that every single Coloradan may have a genuine chance to succeed. For these reasons I ran for office and those are the goals the House of Representatives and I will seek to fulfill.
Martin Luther King said that the real measure of a man is where he stands in times of challenge and controversy. I hope you will stand with me to confront these challenges head on. I look forward to our journey together.
